Was hanging out at Turn 1 at Laguna Seca a couple of weeks ago. Don’t usually shoot here but the light was perfect and I found a hole in the fence that when I stood on my toes I could squeeze out a clear shot. And then Group 4A came through, mostly 3.0 CSL’s and variants but what’s wrong with that? Some of the cars actually appear more than once, but in different attitudes or in competition. I also got an M1, which are pretty rare and a 1960 700S; something I’d never even seen before. So some cool vintage period BMW racing and a great day at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
