One of our first post-vaccination trips was to fly to Seattle for a long weekend of oyster eating, ferry riding, walking the historic waterfront and visiting the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum at Seattle Center. The city and the neighboring islands are lovely and welcoming with beautiful public spaces, and plenty of great things to see and do. Located in the Pacific Northwest there is an abundance of fish, shellfish and oysters in varieties not available anywhere else in the country. With so much to do, so much to see, and so much dining to savor there is always something to look forward to on our next visit.
